PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food kneader suppressing generation of uneven kneading caused by ununiform water distribution in a dough material, able to produce a large quantity of high quality dough and improved in handling properties by preventing dumping up of a lid or the like. SOLUTION: The food kneader has a rotation blade 12 driven by motor 11 installed to the bottom of a kneading bowl 2 and a lid 30 at least a part of which is formed to be transparent for closing the bowl. In the kneader, a through hole is made in the center of the lid 30, a funnel 32 is installed above the through hole, a water guide pipe 33 is extended below the through hole and folded to bring the open end of the same toward the side face of the bowl 2.
