<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability while suppressing an influence on a video for viewing as far as possible, in a dual view display device that has an input function on a display screen and can perform different displays in a plurality of display directions different from one another. <P>SOLUTION: The dual view display device 1 is provided with a touch input detecting part (touch panel 16 and touch position detection circuit 18), a display control part 10b for displaying operation screens corresponding to displays in display directions D1/D2, respectively, and a selection screen for selecting the operation screens, and an input recognizing part 10c for recognizing operation contents or selection contents corresponding to a displayed screen on the basis of a detection result by the touch input detecting part in a state that the operation screen or the selection screen is displayed.
