PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pump enabling the peel-off of a rotary body adhered to a pump chamber while suppressing the size. SOLUTION: A pump chamber 15 is demarcated in a housing of an electric roots pump 10. A drive rotor 29 and a driven rotor 30 are stored in the pump chamber 15. An electric motor M rotating the drive rotor 29 and the driven rotor 30 is stored in the housing. A clutch mechanism 31 capable of engaging and disengaging the transmission of power from the electric motor M to the drive rotor 29 is disposed on the power transmission route between the electric motor M and the drive rotor 29.
