PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character testing method for prepreg that can digitalize the half hardening state of prepreg resin independent from the resin kind or structure of the prepreg. SOLUTION: This is a method for controlling the half hardening state of prepreg resin exactly without uneveness in the prepreg comprising at least a reinforcing material and a half hardened resin and the temperature changing together with the change of the resin state is used as a judging indicator. In this method, the glass transition point of the resin is used as an indicator thereby the exactness and the reliability of the characteristic control can be largely improved.
