The lubricator has a lubricant distributing chamber formed by an annular groove (58) of a ring mounted on a cylindrical support piece (6). The chamber is closed automatically by assembling the ring on a surface corresponding to the piece on which channels or conduits (32, 34) open. The channels or conduits connect the groove to a unit (30) supplying lubricant to the groove.
