Synthetic rubber with a narrow molecular weight distribution, its use and a method for its production

A synthetic rubber (A) is exposed to the effect of ultrasound, to obtain synthetic rubber (B) having a weight average molecular weight lower than the synthetic rubber (A). An independent claim is also included for the following (a) a method of producing moldings comprising subjecting the synthetic rubber to an extrusion process or to an injection-molding process; and (b) a method of producing tires by subjecting the synthetic rubber to a tires forming process sequence.
