<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for arrival of an incoming call (access request) to an IP-VPN adaptor from an IP switch network 2 reaching any of terminals 20a whose extension numbers are in compliance with the protocol of a public telephone network that can solve such problems of a conventional system that number of IP-VPN adaptors and telephone lines has been required by number of terminals to be separately called and the number scheme in a private network built up in the IP switch network 2 has had to be in compliance with the protocol of the public telephone network. SOLUTION: The IP-VPN adaptor 1 is provided with a database. Two kinds of numbers, that is, an extension number of the public telephone network and a VPN number in the IP switch network, are specified to each called terminal 20a, the database stores both the extension number and the VPN number while making correspondence to each other, and the IP-VPN adaptor reads a public extension designated number corresponding to the VPN number and transmits it to a telephone system 6. The IP-VPN adaptor can decide the VPN number independently of the public telephone network and separately call the extension terminals.</p> |
