APPARATUS FOR ULTRASONIC WELDING

FIELD: ultrasonic welding of metals or metals with dielectric materials, for example with polymeric materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has frame 1 on which support 2 for welding and support 3 for ultrasound head are mounted. In body 4 of ultrasonic head ultrasonic transducer of lengthwise oscillations with wave guide system and concentrator 5 with welding tip 6 in its end are arranged. Back part of body of ultrasound head is mounted in support 3 by means of first movable joint. Second movable joint provides joining of head body with rod 10 of pneumatic cylinder 11; rod 10 passes through opening of frame 1. Pneumatic cylinder 11 is mounted on lower surface of frame by means of third movable joint. All movable joints provide motion of ultrasound head along circle arc in the same plane. ^ EFFECT: lowered metal consumption due to using one frame of apparatus and simplified system for pressure transfer. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg
