A flame spread preventing fireproof plate is provided to increase utilization of indoor space by extending a balcony of an apartment and thus expanding an indoor space and to be easily fixed on a handrail of the balcony. The flame spread preventing fireproof plate is installed on an inner side or an outer side of a handrail(G) of an outer wall of a building. Guide brackets(11,11') are mounted on an upper part and a lower part of the support rod(10,10'). A fireproof glass(20) is coupled between the guide brackets(11,11'). A clamp(30) having a clip formed integrally thereon is inserted into an insertion hole(12,12') punched on one side of the support rod(10,10'). The clamp(30) is clamped and fixed on a pipe(P) of the handrail.
