A steam vacuum cleaner is provided to clean a gap between a floor and a bed, a desk, a sofa, etc. more efficiently without affecting a height of a base assembly by installing a motor for vacuum-absorbing air in a main assembly. A steam vacuum cleaner includes a base assembly, a main assembly, and a neck assembly. The base assembly forms an exterior appearance. The neck assembly connects the base assembly and the main assembly. The base assembly includes a suction nozzle and a steam injection hole connected to a dust collecting box(200) and a steam generating unit respectively. A motor for vacuum-absorbing air is installed in the main assembly. The neck assembly is composed of first and second arms(310,330) of which one sides are rotatably supported to the base assembly, and a connecting unit connected to the main assembly. Air passage communicating holes(311) for communicating the dust collecting box and the motor are formed at the first arm and the connecting unit.
