A holder for chalk contains a housing, threaded first catch mounted from one side of the housing. In the housing a noncircular opening is made, and the second catch is mounted from other side of the housing. Both catches are equipped with shielding sleeves and are made in the form of lamellar elastic clamps, whose some ends are connected with the housing rigidly, and opposite ends are free, with possibility of interaction with the ends of additionally mounted clamp adjusting screws. From outside the housing is covered with rubberized material and its one side between clamps has oblong hole. A distributor of chalk made in the form of a piston is additionally mounted in the axial opening of the housing, with possibility of movement along the housing within the bounds of oblong hole in its side. A latch, whose opposite end is free, is hingedly fastened by one end to the distributor by threaded connection with the help of the axle parallel to the axis of housing, with possibility of fixation on the external surface of the housing.
