THE BRACES AND THE METHOD FOR SURFACE TREATMENT OF THE SAME

A brace and a method for surface treatment of the same are provided to obtain a brace which has an ivory color close to the color of teeth and has a surface treatment layer thereon to prevent change of color and abrasion. The brace includes a wire and a bracket. The wire and the bracket include a base(10), a strike layer(20), a silver plating layer(40) and a palladium plating layer(50). The strike layer(20) is formed on an outer surface of the base(10). The silver plating layer(40) is formed with a silver metal or a silver alloy on an outer surface of the strike layer(20). The palladium plating layer(50) is formed on an outer surface of the silver plating layer(40) with a palladium metal or a palladium-gold alloy. The thickness of the strike layer is 0.01-1.0 micrometers.
