A housing opening and closing device of a DVD(Digital Video Disc) camcorder is provided to very simply and conveniently perform the housing opening and closing operation of the camcorder. A main frame(30) mounts a DVD. A housing(20) is opened and closed for the main frame(30). A housing ejecting unit is operated by a solenoid unit(160) to open and close the housing(20). The housing ejecting unit includes a pair of combining members(110), an ejecting member(120), a link member(130), a sliding member(140), a pair of locking members(150), the solenoid member(160), and the third elastic member(170). A pair of the combining members(110) are installed in the housing(20). The ejecting member(120) is installed in the housing(20) between a pair of the combining members(110). The link member(130) is combined to the first hinge shaft(131) to be rotatable for the first hinge shaft(131) in a position capable of being contacted with the ejecting member(120). The sliding member(140) is slidably combined to the first hinge shaft(131) and one end of the link member(130). A pair of the locking members(150) are rotated along the sliding of the sliding member(140). The solenoid member(160) is combined to one end of the sliding member(140). The third elastic member(170) is installed in the other end of the sliding member(140) at a side opposite to the solenoid unit(160).
