A light guide plate for a liquid crystal display device, a back light unit, and the liquid crystal display device are provided to increase light collection efficiency in a liquid crystal panel and to improve luminance by dispersing the beam incident to the light guide plate on the plane through various scattering, diffusing, and refracting of the beam. In a liquid crystal panel of a liquid crystal display device having liquid crystal cells aligned in an active matrix form to control the transmission quantity of the light projected from the lower side, an incident light lens unit(21) is installed at a light guide plate(20) for emitting the beam that is a surface light source, toward the liquid crystal panel. The incident light lens unit has a saw tooth-shaped Fresnel unit(21a) for diffusing, reflecting, and scattering the beam.
