A method for synchronizing data between a server and a client is provided to search the data to be synchronized according to priority, and a counting number of each item of the added, deleted, or changed data, and synchronize the searched data between the server and the client. The number of data added, deleted, or changed after the last data synchronization between the server and the client are received from the client(S20). The added, deleted, or changed data is searched as many as the number of each item according to data search priority(S22). The data is synchronized between the server and the client based on a search result(S24). The data search priority of the added data is higher than the data search priority of the deleted or changed data.
