<p>#CMT# #/CMT# Composition comprises synergic association of Tinosorb-S(RTM: 2,2'-[6-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl]-bis-[5-(2-ethylhexyl)oxyl]-phenol) (I) and of ectoine ((4S)-2-methyl-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidine-4-carboxylic acid) (II) as a UV-A photo protector, where the weight ratio of (II) to (I) is at least 1:1000. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is included for a process for protection of skin and/or lips and/or superficial body growth against UV rays, comprising applying the composition on the skin and/or superficial body growth. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The synergic association of (I) and (II) are useful for the preparation of a composition to improve the photo-protection activity of skin in UV-A spectrum. The composition is useful for the manufacture of cosmetic or dermatological compositions to protect the skin and/or the superficial body growth against UV rays (all claimed). The composition is useful in the make-up product of nails, lashes and eyebrows or skin e.g. as lipsticks, make-up foundation and mascara. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The composition has an improved synergistic activity.
