<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a rail including a carriage with a pantograph whose connecting rod (9) is fixed to the carriage by an articulated end and to a loading platform (12) by another end. The pantograph is actuated pivotingly by a jack (24). The platform is delimited on its lateral sides by entry and exit sides of an item e.g. box, by articulated lips permitting a connection of a side of the item with a dock (1) and a connection of another side of the item with a plate (5`) of a pick-up van (5). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used at a dock with a normal height for loading an item e.g. box, packing case and pallet, in a pick-up van and a small motor truck (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The plate is delimited on its lateral sides by entry and exit sides of the item e.g. box, by articulated lips permitting the connection of the side of the item with the dock and the connection of another side of the item with a plate of a pick-up van, thus securing and maintaining the material to be transported. The configuration of the device provides improved stability.
