<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate deterioration of authentication accuracy by dirt of a reading portion; to hardly encounter destruction by ill will of a user; to require no addition of an excess mechanism; and to prevent a situation in which a mechanism itself preventing the dirt or mischief is destructed by the ill will of the user. <P>SOLUTION: This mechanism capable of rotating with a lengthwise direction as an axis is provided in an authentication device, and is stored inside an automatic machine installed with the authentication device when not in use, and the authentication device is automatically rotated in use to be used. By making a bottom part of the authentication device semicylindrical and round, the hindrance of the rotation such as by placing a baggage on an authentication device bottom face portion when the authentication device in the time except the use time is turned upside down is prevented. By making the bottom face part of the authentication device round, catching, throwing-in of trash or the like during the rotation can be prevented. By also making the inside of device-installing mechanism semicylindrical similarly to the authentication device rear face, trash can be swept out during the rotation even if the trash is thrown in. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
