PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a terminal operator to perform luminance control of a display screen for a customer. SOLUTION: A merchandise registering processor, comprising a display screen 3 for a terminal operator and a display screen 5 for a customer, is provided with a luminance control means 11 placed on the side of the display screen 3 for the terminal operator for controlling the luminance of the display screen 3 for the terminal operator, and a luminance control means 16 placed on the side of the display screen 3 for the terminal operator for controlling the luminance of the display screen 5 for the customer.
