PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correspond to both of the width and reference end of a continuous form to be carried and guide it, in regard to a guide mechanism for a continuous form carrying device guiding the width direction of the continuous form, when carrying the continuous form for applying predetermined processing to it. SOLUTION: An adjusting shaft 31 penetrates through guide plates 21, 26 for guiding both ends in the width direction of a continuous form, respectively, and a thread groove 31A screwed to a fixed and formed nut groove is formed on the adjusting shaft 31. By fastening bushes 23, 28 into which the adjusting shaft 31 is inserted by directivity-fixed screw knobs 24, 30 to slightly bend the bushes 23, 28, the adjusting shaft 31 can be rotated. By setting the bushes 23, 28 in the axially fixed state, the guide plates 21, 26 are integrally movable in the axial direction in accordance with the rotation of the adjusting shaft 31, and at the time of release of the fixation, the respective guide plates 21, 26 are independently movable in the axial direction.
