PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing with a load detecting sensor capable of being installed on a vehicle in a compact fashion for detecting a load on a wheel in a well sensitive manner, having lower cost in mass-production. SOLUTION: The wheel bearing comprises an outward member 1 and an inward member, and double-row rolling elements laid therebetween. A sensor unit 16 is mounted thereon. Between two adjacent vehicle body mounting holes 9 on the road surface side out of vehicle body mounting holes 9 of the outward member 1, a phase differenceαof 80°or more exists. The sensor unit 16 is mounted in the phase differenceαtherebetween. The sensor unit 16 consists of a sensor mounting member 17, and a plurality of distortion sensors 18 for measuring the distortion of the sensor mounting member 17. The sensor mounting member 17 has at least two contact fixing portions 17a, 17b on the outward member 1 and at least one cutout portion 17c between the adjacent contact fixing portions. The distortion sensors 18 are arranged in the cutout portion 17c. In the case that the inward member 2 is a fixing side member, the sensor mounting member 17 is mounted on the inward member 2.
