PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a building board having excellent humidity conditioning performance, capable of optionally changing the sound absorption characteristics and excellent in fire-proof performance. SOLUTION: The building board 1 is formed by sticking a granular material comprising diatom earth, or diatom earth and pearlite with a binder comprising a natural adhesive such as glue. It is preferable that projecting and recessed shaped part is formed on the surface of the building board in a depth up to 30 mm.
