<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine rotor blade in which improved internal cooling circuits are formed. <P>SOLUTION: This turbine blade 10 comprises an aerofoil 12 having pressure side and suction side walls 18, 20 facing each other which are joined to each other at the leading and trailing edges 22, 24 facing each other and vertically extending from the bottom 26 to the end 28. A plurality of independent cooling circuits 34 to 38 are disposed in the aerofoil 12 along the pressure side and suction side walls 18, 20 of the aerofoil 12. A first serpentine circuit 34 is disposed along the pressure side wall 18. A second serpentine circuit 36 is disposed along the suction side wall 20 parallel with the first circuit 34.
