EMERGENCY LUMINAIRE AND AUTOMATIC CHECKING SYSTEM FOR DISASTER PREVENTION LUMINAIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency luminaire which is always checked properly, and an automatic checking a disaster prevention luminaire system equipped with the emergency luminaire. SOLUTION: An emergency luminaire 10 comprises: a lamp 1 for lighting during normal time and emergency time; a regularly used lighting circuit 2 for lighting the lamp during the normal time; an emergency lighting circuit unit 3 for lighting the lamp during the emergency time, a lamp state detecting circuit 4 for detecting faults of the lamp; a lamp fault decision means 5 for deciding the fault of the lamp, based on an output of the lamp state detecting means only when the emergency lighting circuit unit 3 operates; and a monitor 6 for displaying the lamp fault of a fluorescent lamp.
