PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image reproducing method capable of reproducing a color image with high definition and high saturation, and inconspicuous of roughness and unevenness. SOLUTION: CMY colorplates with a comparatively low visibility defined by a contrast with respect to a white color is used for FM screens and a K colorplate with a high visibility is used for AM screens. A color image with the high definition and the high saturation being advantages of the FM screens can be obtained. On the other hand, since the K colorplate is used for the AM screens, roughness and unevenness of the image are hardly conspicuous.
