PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable timepiece with LED lighting having few restrictions in layout and no restrictions in design. SOLUTION: The portable timepiece with LED lighting is provided with a contact spring 23 passed through a movement 15. The contact spring 23 electrically connects an integrated-circuit-mounting circuit board 22, which is provided for the side of a back lid 13 of the movement and mounted with an integrated circuit, to a LED-mounting circuit board 17, which is provided for the side of a dial 18 of the movement and mounted with LEDs 44. The portable timepiece with LED lighting is provided as the LEDs with LEDs for internal lighting for lighting up the inside of a timepiece case and LEDs for external lighting for lighting up the outside of the timepiece. In the portable timepiece with LED lighting provided as the LEDs with the LEDs for internal lighting, light of the LEDs for internal lighting may be reflected at a skirting part 48 of the timepiece case 10 to light up the inside of the time piece case, and the LEDs for internal lighting may be mounted on the LED-mounting circuit board in such a way that the direction of light emission of the LEDs for internal lighting may be turned in the direction of a plane of the dial.
