PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually driving device of a passenger conveyor installable without newly forming a bolt hole, and without causing the axial dislocation of a motive power transmitting means. SOLUTION: The manually driving device (18) is composed of a driven wheel (17) arranged on the output shaft side of a driving devices (9) driving a tread (6) and a moving handrail (8) of the passenger conveyor (1), a support (19) fixed to suspension bolt holes (14A to 14D) of the driving device (9) in maintenance, a driving wheel (20) journaled to this support (19) and positioned so as to coincide with the radial direction of the driven wheel (17), a handle (21) arranged in the driving wheel (20), and the motive power transmitting means (25) transmitting the motive power of the driving wheel (20) to the driven wheel (17).
