PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port member, and a vacuum cleaner, in which installation operation can be easily carried out in installing the suction port member onto an extension pipe after removing it from it to be cleaned. SOLUTION: On a suction port main body 50 of the suction port member, a rotation regulating member 100 having cuts 101 and 102 is provided. On a connection pipe of the suction port member, projected parts 64D and 64D which can be engaged with the cuts 101 and 102 are provided. As the connection pipe is inclined to such an angle that the cuts 101 and 102 are engaged with the projected parts 64D and 64D, the extension pipe becomes releasable from the connection pipe. As the extension pipe is removed, inclination/rotation of the connection pipe are regulated, and re-installation of the extension pipe becomes easy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
