<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate coordinates on an image display device pointed by a pointing device. <P>SOLUTION: A television coordinate detector includes an image display device 100 for controlling light emission for each area to transmit information differing from each area through the blinking of the light emission; and a pointing device 200 for pointing areas on a screen of the display device 100 and receiving the information transmitted from the pointed area, and specifies the area pointed by the pointing device through the information received by the pointing device to accurately detect the coordinates on the screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
