PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shake correcting device capable of always performing sensitivity adjustment of shake correction at user side and performing correction sensitivity adjustment with higher precision. SOLUTION: The shake correcting device is provided with: a shake correcting means (subtracting part 7, PID part 8, driving part 9 and correction unit 10) for correcting shake to picked-up images, due to shake vibrations of the device; a shake detecting means (angular velocity detecting part 1 or the like) for detecting a prescribed shake amount by shake vibrations of the device; an image blur detecting means (motion vector detecting part 22) for detecting a prescribed blur amount of continuously picked-up images obtained by an image pickup sensor 104 belonging to the device; and a correction sensitivity adjusting means (correction sensitivity instructing part 11 or the like) for using shake amount information (T) detected by the shake detecting means and blur amount information (P) detected by the image blur detecting means to adjust correction sensitivity being sensitivity of shake correction operation, wherein the shake correcting means performs shake correction operation with correction sensitivity obtained by adjustment by the correction sensitivity adjusting means.
