PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MgB2superconductive wire having high superconductive performance, and increased in length. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of this MgB2superconductive wire by a so-called powder-in-tube method is characterized in that surface reduction work is carried out by arranging a metal core in powder; and a thin-film layer of a constituent to be introduced into a superconductive conductor is previously formed on the metal core or a metal tube before work, and the constituent is dispersed in the superconductive conductor by using strong force in a process of the surface-reducing work.
