PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of making small the displacement amount of a terminal caused by contact with a connection object and capable of reducing a load applied on a part of the terminal. SOLUTION: Since the terminal 20 is formed such that when a conductive part 4a of a battery 40 contacts a contact portion 29 of the terminal 20, a part (a third bending portion 26) of the terminal 20 elastically deforms upward, and the other portion (a first portion 22) of the terminal 20 elastically deforms downward, the displacement amount of the terminal 20 can be made smaller than the case wherein the terminal 20 elastically deforms only in any one direction out of upward or downward directions, and the load applied on a part of the terminal 20 can be made smaller than the case wherein the terminal 20 restores only in one direction out of upward or downward directions. Accordingly it is extremely advantageous for connection with a connecting object with a small connection part with the connector such as a small battery, and since the terminal 20 plastically deforms, contact failure of the battery 40 and the terminal 20 can be certainly prevented.
