PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection device capable of maintaining properly detection accuracy of a rotator to be detected, even when a deviation is generated in an amplitude value or an offset value of an output signal when detecting a rotation angle of the rotator to be detected based on an output signal by a magnetic detection element. SOLUTION: This rotation angle detection device has a set of three Hall elements 111a-111c for detecting a change of a magnetic vector MV emitted from a polarized rotor 200 rotating following rotation of a crankshaft 300 as sine wave signals A, B having each phase shifted by 90 degrees. The set of the three Hall elements 111a-111c is arranged slantingly respectively. The rotation angle detection device calculates the rotation angleθof the crankshaft 300 based on an operation expression 'θ=tan<SP>-1</SP>(A/B)' relative to each of the set of the three Hall elements 111a-111c, and then operates the mean value thereof, while keeping a phase relation among three calculated signals.
