PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type transplanter having improved operationality and workability on one side of a machine body for an operator walking on the other side of the right or left side. SOLUTION: The walking type transplanter 1 comprises a machine body 4 supported by traveling wheels 2, 3 so as to be freely driven, transplanting means 6, 7, 8 mounted on the machine body 4, a seedling tray 5 provided on the rear part of the body 4 for feeding a seedling to the transplanting means 6, 7, 8, and a steering handle 10 extended rearward from the body 4.
