<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of reducing an installation area without using a heater by resolving problems in a humidifier sending air on a water absorbing material having absorbed water and heated by a heater to evaporate the water, wherein electric power consumption is large due to usage of the heater, there is a limit in enlargement in a height direction since absorption of water to the water absorbing material is against gravity, there is a need to compose the water absorbing material widely in a horizontal direction to increase a humidification amount, and an installation floor area of the humidifier becomes large. <P>SOLUTION: A water tank 2 holds water for humidification. An evaporating means 4 providing with an evaporation material 6 composed of a water retaining material carrying out seepage absorption of the water in the water tank 2, and evaporating the absorbed water into the air, is detachably attached to a lower part of the water tank such that the water in an interior of the water tank seeps into the evaporation material by gravity. By this, since the water having seeped into the evaporation material of the evaporating means evaporates on a surface of the evaporation material, an effect of carrying out humidification in a natural state can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
