PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin for a functional component of an electrophotographic apparatus containing a positive charge type resin which allows existence of amino and carboxyl groups in an outermost surface of the functional component of the electrophotographic apparatus, imparts satisfactory negative charging property to toner by addition in such a small amount as not to deteriorate properties such as the hardness and elasticity of the base resin, and allows formation of good images with the functional component of the electrophotographic apparatus as a molded object of the resin. SOLUTION: With respect to the resin for a functional component of an electrophotographic apparatus containing a positive charge control resin containing amino and carboxyl groups, when a surface of the functional component of the electrophotographic apparatus is measured with a time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometer (TOF-SIMS), the ratio of maximum ionic strength coming from amino groups to total ionic strength up to a molecular weight of 1,850 is≥0.005, and the ratio A of maximum ionic strength coming from carboxyl groups to total ionic strength up to a molecular weight of 1,850 is≥5 ppm.
