PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure with excellent liquid contacting properties, durability and gas barrier properties, while a favorable connection between a sub-tank and an ink feeding path forming member or a main tank is performed. SOLUTION: A pit-in-base 3 being the feeding path forming member is displaceable accompanied with an operation for connecting a sub-joint 4 to the sub-tank. In addition, in this time, an ink feeding opening forming member 8 for the main tank 2 connected to the main joint 8 is made displaceable so as to allow the displacement of the pit-in-base 3. It is obtained thereby a favorable connecting condition even when a relatively high rigid and non-flexible ink feeding path forming member is utilized, no unfavorable stress is acted to respective parts of the feeding path forming member and the main tank. In addition, it is possible to enlarge the freedom of material selection of the feeding path forming member, and to attempt to improve the liquid contacting properties, gas barrier properties and durability.
