PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip end protection cap for an endoscope, which is excellent in impact resistance and protects the tip end of the insertion part of the endoscope from a breakage even when a strong impact is added. SOLUTION: An insertion part inserting cylinder 11, which is engaged in a state where the tip end 1a of the insertion part is inserted, and a barrel shape outer cylinder 12 which is arranged in a state where the cylinder 12 encloses the insertion part inserting cylinder 11 with a space in a radial direction relative to the insertion part inserting cylinder 11, are formed of an elastic material in a state where the cylinders are integrally connected only on one end sides. In the insertion part inserting cylinder 11, an insertion port 11o, where the tip end 1a of the insertion part is put in/out, is connected to the barrel shape outer cylinder 12 and the other side, with which the tip end 1a of the insertion part is engaged, is arranged at a position retreated inward from the end 12a of the barrel outer cylinder 12. A tip end engagement hole 11a to be elastically deformed by the fitting of the tip end 1a of the insertion part is formed at the end part of the insertion part inserting cylinder 11.
