PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a flexible cord covered with an exterior tube that is thin-walled and excellent in adhesiveness to a contact coil by using a non-contractible tube. SOLUTION: The flexible cord 2 connected to a forceps apparatus body 1 comprises the exterior tube 21 made from a high-density polyethylene that is appressed to a peripheral surface of the contact coil 20 and bonded so as to slightly encroach into a pitch interval region of the coil by using a thermocompression bonding device 40, which allows the exterior tube 21 to pass through a heating tunnel 44 heated at 125-135°C and to be applied with force in a direction reducing its radius when passing through the heating tunnel 44.
