PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which enables the accurate beating-off of dust trapped into a dust collection bag. SOLUTION: The cleaner is provided with a dust beat-off member 38 which beats up the upper side 22a of the dust collection bag 8 and a filter frame 84 which beats up the downstream side 22b of the dust collection bag 8 in linkage with the dust beat-off member 38. The dust beat-off member 38 and the filter frame 84 make forces act on the dust collection bag 8 from different two directions so that vibration waves generated by the forces from the different directions are combined to apply a complicated vibration wave onto the dust collection bag 8, thereby enabling the accurate beating-off of the dust trapped into the dust collection bag 8.
