The invention relates to novel peptides for neutralizing and/or attaching to coiled-coil structures and associating with coiled-coil sequences, substances that are derived therefrom, and the use thereof, preferably for detecting, marking, and influencing coiled-coil structures and sequences in a biological or biotechnological system, particularly peptides of general formula (abcdefg)<SUB>n</SUB>, wherein a to g represent amino acid radicals, among which a and/or d are hydrophobic while e and/or g are loaded, and n represents a number between 1 and 3, or fractions thereof that are composed of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 15 amino acid radicals. The invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing novel peptides and the use of such peptides for producing medicaments used for the treatment of HIV, influenza virus, or Mycobacterium tuberculosis infections. |
