Detergent compn - for washing dishes contains lemon perfume stabilised with boric acid

The compn. contains 0.01-15 wt% of a boron deriv. as stabilised, chosen from basic anhydride, basic acid, and mixtures. The compn. may also contain 0.5-5.0% of water soluble detergents, 0.5-5% bleach, 0.05-1% lemon perfume (citral) and 60-90% active inorganic or organic salts. The stabiliser is specific for preventing degradation of lemon perfumes in alkaline detergents.
