<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trailing arm type suspension structure reduced in the weight thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In the trailing arm type suspension structure to be used for a vehicle, a trailing arm 101 is formed by combining a first-half trailing arm plate material and a second-half trailing arm plate material with each other, while aligning them in the longitudinal direction. At least one of the first-half trailing arm plate material and the second-half trailing arm plate material is formed into a hollow tubular shape at a predetermined length part thereof close to an end of trailing arm on a car body side in the longitudinal direction of the trailing arm 101 when they are connected, and formed into a plate shape at a predetermined length part thereof close to an end on a wheel side so as to be used as an axle bearing fitting surface 103. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
