PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle moving type display device secured more firmly than a partition wall indicated in patent documents 2 by adhesion strength of the partition wall and difficult to be exfoliated from an electrode member by the partition wall even when the partition wall thinner than the width of the electrode member is formed. SOLUTION: The particle moving type display device arranges a grid frame-like common electrode 6 surrounding a display electrode 5 on the surface of a rear substrate 1 arranging the display electrode 5. The device forms a connection layer 9 of the same contour as the common electrode 6 on the common electrode 6, and forms the partition wall 7 of a thickness narrower than the width of the common electrode 6 on the connection layer 9. The device arranges a resistant layer 7 integrally covering an erection face of the partition wall 8; the surface of the connection layer 9 protruded from the partition wall 7 and the surface of the display electrode 5. For the connection layer 9, a material having an adhesion higher than the common electrode 6 to the partition wall 8, transparency and conductivity is selected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
