PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a zonotlite based calcium silicate hydrate porous formed body having excellent characteristics such as heat resistance by producing sufficient zonotlite in autoclave curing. SOLUTION: Raw material slurry containing a calcareous raw material, a siliceous raw material, metal aluminum powder as a foaming agent and water is poured into a form and hardened by the reaction of calcareous raw material to obtain a porous green cake. In the autoclave curing of the resultant porous green cake, the autoclave curing is carried out by dividing into a plurality of times. Because the autoclave curing is carried out particularly at≥170°C and <190°C, the zonotlite based calcium silicate hydrate porous formed body is manufactured using the autoclave in the existing ALC plant.
