PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floorboard of a passenger conveyor for imparting the nonslipping effect, without forming a continuous surface even in a story floor number and character part, by forming a story floor number and a character displayed on a floorboard surface by a calligraphic style having a plurality of grooves having the nonslipping effect. SOLUTION: This floorboard of the passenger conveyor is arranged in a boarding-alighting part of the passenger conveyor. The story floor number 3 and the character displayed on the floorboard 1 surface are formed by the calligraphic style having the plurality of grooves in the direction orthogonal to the moving direction of a passenger conveyor user.
