PURPOSE:To secure matching between programs and to enhance the reliability of the entire system by automatically carrying out the management of a plurality of programs corresponding to a plurality of control means that build up a system. CONSTITUTION:When a subroutine for checking programs for a sorter controller 105 of main controller 100 is executed, the subroutine sends to the sorter controller 105 a code of requesting the sorter controller 105 to return a code for identifying a program version to the program management unit. When the sorter controller 105 receives a version request code and judges that a version code has been returned, the controller 105 compares the value of the version code with a value shown in 'SORT' to judge whether or not they coincide with each other. If they coincide with each other, a series of operations terminate. Otherwise, the program management unit judges that program matching is not made between the main controller 100 and the sorter controller, and gives a warning to a panel controller 102. |
