PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of an inspecting operation, when whether a polarizing film applied to an LCD has a defect has been inspected. SOLUTION: The polarizing film inspecting device comprises a first inspection section (30), which inspects whether the polarizing film (3) has defects, a second inspection section (40) which inspects whether the polarizing film (3) has defects, a first film transfer section (20) which selectively loads arrayed polarizing films (3) to the first and second inspection sections (30, 40), and a second film transfer section (50), which unloads polarizing films (3) having been inspected by the first and second inspection sections (30, 40) to a sorting section (60).
