<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an occurrence of an image failure like a vertical stripe, white fogging and an unevenness in density, etc., by having other member such as a photoreceptor, and toner soiled, by bleeding matter on a roller surface such as a unreacted compounds, in a conductive roller elastic layer when the conductive roller of an electrophotography method is used in contact with the other members or the toner. <P>SOLUTION: The problem is solved by providing the conductive roller with; a conductive supporting member, the elastic layer formed on an outer circumferential surface of the conductive supporting member, one or more layers of coating layer(s) formed on the outer circumferential surface of the elastic layer, and (i) a graft copolymer with fluorine atom in its polymer side chain and/or (ii) a block copolymer with fluorine atom formed on the surface of the coating layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
