KEYPAD AND KEYPAD ASSEMBLY

A keypad and a keypad assembly are provided to uniformly and brightly illuminate key buttons, minimize the power consumption and the number of LEDs, and lower the production cost by installing a light guide panel between key buttons and protrusions. A keypad(210) comprises a light guide panel(220), key buttons(245), and a light interception member. Light goes inside of the light guide panel(220). The key buttons(245) are arranged on the upper surface of the light guide panel(220). The light interception member, arranged so as to cover an exposed portion of the upper surface of the light guide panel(220), intercepts the light incident. Each of the key buttons(245) is attached to the upper surface of the light guide panel(220) by an adhesive member(247) having a refractive index that breaks the total reflection condition of the light.
